Mission Statement
The Jackson Hole Conservation Alliance is dedicated to responsible land stewardship in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, to ensure that human activities are in harmony with the area’s irreplaceable wildlife, scenic and other natural resources.
What We Do

Jackson Hole is a high mountain valley that is home to Grand Teton National Park and our nation’s most cherished wildlife. A gateway to Yellowstone National Park in the heart of the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem, Jackson Hole hosts millions of visitors and a growing number of residents, and is experiencing ever greater human impacts on its fragile environment.

With the support of our members, the Jackson Hole Conservation Alliance works to protect the natural resources and wildlife that make this area world renowned. We monitor the impacts of growth and development on public and private lands in and around the valley, and intervene when the impacts to our natural resources become too high. We encourage the input of people like you because we believe that natural resource protection can best be accomplished when citizens become informed and actively involved.

The Conservation Alliance seeks to educate and motivate our friends and neighbors to sustain our unique community by standing up for Jackson Hole's wildlife, open spaces, and clean air and water.

Together, we work for:

Valley character that is built on the common belief that our precious natural resources are of the highest importance to Jackson Hole and the surrounding Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem;

Valley cooperation that advocates for responsible planning, land use and wildlife management;

Valley solutions informed by science and research easily understood by all; and

Valley action that strengthens and sustains the town, region and whole ecosystem.
